The only reason i think they would get mad is if you sprayed dirt on the drift course cause anytime someone would drift off the course by accident they would have to sweep all the dirt back off the track

Why not just drive by one of tho's radars around town like the Speed traps find out how much your off then drive from that point on.
I am about 4-mhp's off. With my 35's.. It's not rocket science.
-I don't mean hall ass by a cop and say hey what speed yeah get me at-...-

i bought one for Jasmine..i use it more then my other walkie talkie that i have which is a Yaesu FT-60R..

everyone and their mother has these radios in all of the rock crawler clubs i wheel with when i go rock crawling. im thinking about selling my other walkie talkie to get the wouxun. they are great radios to have. from my house i can hit all of the important repeaters that are at a distance so i know the range is good.

dont forget to get the programmming cable for whatever radio you decide to get. because trying to program these radios by hand will just make you wanna go and punch a baby in the face

First off I know how far my tires off for the purposes of knowing my speed. Secondly, those radar signs may or may not be accurate. I know, as I have installed them. For your sake, you should know that you are not going 5 mph faster than what you speedo shows. The amount your speedo is off is a ratio or percentage, not a static number. To figure this out you must determine what percentage of your factory tire size your new tires are. In my case, my tires are 110% of my factory tire size. So what ever my speed shows, I must add 10%. If it shows 30, I'm actually going 33. 50 is actually 55; 75 is actually 82.5 and so on.
While I have this handled, the reason I want the programmer is not for the speedo, so much as the odometer. I can right off 100% of my mileage for work on my taxes, but with the larger tires my odometer is cheating me every day of 10% of my mileage. While that is also easy to figure out, I don't actually need the miles driven for taxes, the proper way to do it is to keep odometer readings. Then figure out your mileage. Uncle Sam doesn't really believe you if you say, I drove this far. He wants to know how many miles you started with and how many you ended up with.

We just went and drove around. Started at the house, drove the 210 to Arcadia, followed Colorado out to the 5. Took the 5 south to Los Feliz to Franklin to Highland to 3rd, stopped in at The Grove and the Farmers Market. Left there, took Fairfax to Melrose to Santa Monica Blvd. to Beverly Glen to Sunset and all the way out to PCH. Looped in to Marina Del Ray stopped for In-N-Out and then jumped the 10 all the way back home.

 

That was pretty much it. Neither of us knew where we wanted to go, so we really had no destination. Just told the wife, "If you see somewhere you wanna stop, say something."
