I just bought a Pioneer Avic-x940BT, supposed to be installed Tuesday.

Question I had was with that installed will there be a drastic change in sound quality coming from the stock speakers?

Also I know absolutely nothing about car sound systems, but I plan on upgrading the stock speakers in the truck and I wanted to get a sub as well, is there any recommendations of which speakers to buy? I'm not looking for top of the line platinum plated or anything just the best speakers for the price.

If I could get some feed back that would be amazing.

I installed a Kenwood deck in mine. I plan to do the speakers too eventually. But honestly, the stock speakers are just fine for what I do.

There was a noticeable improvement in sound quality with just the deck. Lots of audio guys on here talking about how crappy the stock speakers are, but I think I made the right choice spending $150 bucks on a new deck before doing the speakers.

I have friends who have full amped systems with component speakers and subs, so I know what that sounds like. It's very nice to have, but the deck upgrade is a good bang for your buck as far as sound quality goes. And of course, you are gaining lots of other functions with the new deck.

Sweet that is one thing I was worried about because this in dash I'm getting isn't cheap and it was gonna be a downer if it made no improvements to the stock speakers but glad it does. Thanks
