Well, i like a lot of different music, some of it well before my time, but "here's and oldie form the 80's, Love Shack" jesus christ...I was in a store once and i heard GnR come over the radio and i said something to the cashier, who was younger than me and she says "oooh that's a classic!"
WTF! I oughta beat you where you stand!

Actually, you really know you're getting old when ... you tell a "you know you're getting old" joke and you're speaking from past experience.

As my dad would say, it sucks when you have more hair coming out of your ears and nose than you do coming out of the top of your head.

How about paper tape? I worked on a system in the Navy that used it and punch cards as well. The newer model had a "state of the art" Rapid Access Disk" or RAD that cost $1million stood about 3 feet tall and rotated on it's side. It had about 1-6 megs of capacity and had 500+ fixed heads to read the disk. It was part of the Xerox Sigma 5 Mainframe computer. We would load scenarios via mag tape units onto the RAD. Here's a pic of the RAD:

I was reading a list of things that graduating seniors will never experience. Number eight was "They have never seen a tube of toothpaste that did not sit Streight up on its flat cap."

    I thought, OH!

So you know you are getting old when you don't understand why they replaced the small toothpaste cap with a larger cap. I now sit my toothpaste on its flat lid.

I knew I was old when I met a girl and we were talking and I was thinking to myself "yes she is young but not too young" and later in the convo I discovered I was friends with her mom in high school.

Her mom was two grades above me and we played on the tennis team together.

:) You know you are old when you remember that a telephone had a rotary dial and no one else does, and the phone weights 20 lbs. .

When you cut the front forks off a old bike to put on your stingray bike font end to make it look like a chopper.

When the only ice cream you got was home made on the holidays and you had to sit on the ice cream churn to hold it down as someone cranked the handle.

When your front dash of your car was made of metal.

When all your candy and all your comic books were a Dime.

When hair was considered to be long if it touched your ears. You were a Hippie.

When you used to say " Groovy" and " Neet-to" and it was cool.

When you used to build plastic car models and they had metal axles.

When you start regretting you didn't take care of your health like you should have when you were younger and when you wonder if retirement will be an option.
