Pro Comp 6" LIFT QUESTION

Hey guys, so I'm new here, but had taco's ever since I could drive. I totaled my truck last year and got a 2011 TRD double cab offroad package last Nov. I finally convinced my wife to let me put a lift on it, and I have some questions... go figure right. I've decided to go with the Pro Comp 6" lift, just not sure about which one, the K5073BMX or K57073B. What is the real difference, besides the rear shocks(MX-6 or ES9000)? I don't offroad to often, but I like to when I can. Is the difference worth over 1k? (BMX model is $2681 where B model is $1561) I mean if one is a lot better than the other, I don't mind spending the extra money, but I don't want to waste it either... I've been looking on interwebs, but not really finding anything.. And I'm about as mechanically inclinded as a monkey, so yeah... Thanks for any advice!

 

i would go with the stage 1 and maybe upgrade to coilovers in the future if you think they are really necessary. if you won't be doing too much offroading...the extra 1k will probably a little over kill and wasted money in my opinion. you could use that extra money to buy custom leaf packs to get rid of the blocks that the procomp 6" suspension originally comes with.

I'd get the stage one if you don't plan on doing much offroading. The good thing about it is you can always upgrade to better shocks and upgrade to coilovers in the future if you decide to. Like COMAtose HI said....a new set of springs to replace the block will be really beneficial...especially when it comes to axle wrap.
