    I know people asked about the 30k miles service

    I guess when that time comes... I have to do my transfer case and read differential fluid change. Do both of them use
    $26 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)
    75w-90?

    also what the propeller shaft? what kind of lubrication do i use? grease?

    getting there....
    yep......75w90 is ok for the rear diff, front diff and transfer case. alos...change the spark plugs. for the drive shaft........i always use some lucas red and tacky number 2 grease, and i also use mobil1 grease...no probs on my end.

    wait u use both greases? or just Mobil 1 grease is good enough??

    i use both....not at the same time tho. whichever happens to be in my grease gun at the time.....its gonna always be one or the other. the mobil1 is fine.

    getting there....
    6 quarts should be plenty for the front and rear diff and transfer case....and you'll have about a quart or so left over....and get a small bottle pump. for grease....one tube of grease will last you a long time.

    bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
    3 quarts in the rear.......almost 2 in the transfer case, one and some change if I recall correctly.

    right at 3 quarts for the rear diff.......a little bit over one quart for the transfer case, and a little over one for the front diff.

    probably anywhere from $450 to $500 or so. they really rip ya a new oneif you go to a dealer for this service, while its a really easy diy if you have the tools.
