    Not sure what "that plastic" means. It still does not replace the existing handle. The new unit is a no drill unit the fits to the existing handle as best I can understand. Looking at some of the pictures it is not just the metal lock thingy. It is an integral "assembly" unit that incorporates the lock that installs no drilling to the existing handle.

    I want to get in on the group buy, but I don'y know how to PAyPal you. The link on page 1 that sais instructions, does not link me to instructions on how to pay pal you. If I'm not too late, I would like the manual lock for an 09 with the camera. I blelieve it is the PL5300.
