Try this again...thought I submitted this thread but don't see it so here goes again...

Just bought a 2012 Tacoma SR5 Double Cab Long Bed and trying to determine which step bars to buy. Truck is silver but I definitely want to go stainless for a clean look.

Prefer to oval bars over round. Looking online at Westin and Airies and others as well but hoping some of you guys can offer recommendations.

I have bolt-on Westin chrome tube steps on my silver streak mica AC and like 'em, installed with 2 wrenches.

:DYeah I made the post but could not find it...first time on this forum so EXCUSE MEEEE!

I found it after a bit but could not see how to delete the earlier post.

Thanks for the tip for the Westin bars...do you happen to have the actual part number although if you have a short bed yours may be different than what I need. Maybe just confirm which series from Westin if possible.

OP, I think Ryanv's trying to say if you posted a repeat question within 9min of your original you didn't make much an effort to avoid the duplicate post. No biggie, lesson learned. You cannot delete a thread, but you can PM a mod and ask them to delete the duplicate thread for you. This forum has a great community of members and most people are willing to help and answer any questions.

I have Westin 25-2670 Signature Series. People are always selling step bars on the B/S/T and 2nd Gen Market, so I'd recommend you look there if you're wanting to get a good deal. Just remember to use reasonable judgement since you're purchasing over the internet (use paypal, get pics of the actual item, etc).

Short Bed is only an option on the DC, I have an Access Cab (AC). Many people list their cab size in their One-Line Description so you know what their rolling. You're running a DCLB (as opposed to a DCSB). GL w/ purchase!
