question about 2012 locker

My 2012 owner's manual says not to drive more than 6 mph. Can I do real damage if I drive faster than that? Also I can't lock up the rear end unless I'm in 4low. I know there is a mod but will this hurt the truck or void my warranty?

 

You can go over 6 mph while locked just be careful, you have to be in low to engage it as well...

Void warrenty yes.... Other question i dunno ive driven faster in my 09 with locked diff im still goin.

 

Definitely won't have any issues with It. That 6mph warning Is for engaging and disengaging the locker. After its locked, and as long as your on loose dirt/sand/etc... Skinny pedal down! I did the locker anytime mod as well, still, no issues. its a blast and easy to do.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Don't even have a thousand miles on the truck yet but I'm gonna find some place to get it dirty and try the 4wd system and the locker.
