    Hi,
I am a new member but bought my 2nd Tacoma this past May, 2012, TRD Sport, 4X4, . This is my 2nd Tacoma, my last was a 2008 TRD Off Road with the locking diff. Because the Sport does not have a locking diff I thought that I would just buy an after market locker. Can anyone recommend a good one?

    Thanks

ARB is the way to go.

Selectable (on or off) and air operated, which means you need to figure an on board air compressor into your budget.

Also, if you want to know what the "LSD" on your truck is all about, check out this thread.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
^^this. you dont have an LSD in the traditional sense. it's controlled by brakes and is not a mechanical device in the rear diff.
