2012 Tacoma rear camera. Factory

Hello,
My truck has entune jbl system and has a reverse camera in the tail gate handle, does anybody know if it's plug and play to use a better camera in a better place while still using the same head unit? Are these expandable for more than 1. Camera? The view is terrible compared to my alpine camera unit on my other truck, it only works in reverse too and it would be great if it worked while driving too.
