i'm so glad i stumbled upon this thread. but i'm definitely down to do this meet. i've been to lbl before, and i'm relatively close to it. this just amped me up. just got my taco and i've been waiting to break her in. i think me and the guys i work with are going to go THIS sunday. I'll scout some areas and do some recon while i'm up there. (as well as get some pics of my truck in action for the first time.)

my boss actually has a tacoma. i'll try to get him on board for this. the more the merrier, right?

also, i read a few parts of the the thread when you guys were asking about CBs. Well before i put it on the for sale list, i thought i'd let you guys know about it.

It's a uniden PC68ltw. Its brand new, but the box it came in is kinda messed up. looks like it got picked up at a garage sale... aside from that, everything else is wrapped up and still in plastic. i'll post a pic of it it anyone is interested.

this site should have a map and info.

i've been there before. we took a brand new f150 that got through some of the easy and moderate trails, then we had a jeep that went through some of the rougher patches. couldnt make a few, but it should be pretty fun for both ends of the offroading spectrum.

then again, it's been over a year since i've been. who knows what global warming and shifting plates and hurricanes and earthquakes and extraterrestials could have done to the land since then.

lets do this though. if we go next year, i should have my truck lookin a little better than it does now (stock).

i really have no idea what i want, i just think it would be neat to have my truck growl a little more when i get on it. i don't want a really loud drone or anything, just something subtle that you can hear a nice growl at WOT.

yeah i know what you mean. i would not mind something. i need to reroute mine, because the cross over,(pipe the come out on the driver side crosses over to the right, and hangs really low.

not that close, and if i did i’d lose low-end power, it would mess with the back pressure. it crosses over light right where the trans is.

Relentless and allpro make a skid plate for that. It will save you from doing an expensive reroute.

i would take it out of the sleeve to show you, but i dont want it to look repackaged if you dont decide to buy it and i need to slang it elsewhere. like i said, the outer box is kinda raggedy, but the components are in mint condition.

If none of you local tacoma owners dont want it, i'll throw it on the FS thread or craigslist. if youre close enough, we can meet in the middle to hand deliver, or i can just mail this bitch to ya!

well, now here's the tricky part. how much were you looking to get out of it? i looked at what Amazon said, and 75 new isn't bad. i'm curious to see what you want, and it will (sadly) affect my ability to buy because i'm a sorta broke college kid...
