We could always go and see if we can find Miller Hill, as thats supposed to be as difficult as old school Forest lake (current Mineral basin). I've never been up that trail though, so no idea how it actually rates. The entrance is close to the entrance to Mineral Basin though, and should be good for a small group of people at the top. I wouldn't recommend inviting RME for that though.

Not sure why no one ever runs it, except the widely known entrance is now marked private property. The back entrance is public, but little known.

Earliest they can get an adjuster to look at it is monday or tuesday.

    Bummed, and sore.

i wouldn't they see something outta place and there going to give you a salvage title, and your truck would be screwed, it looks like its just the bumper easy fix or take it off and ride without it for awhile

Well the bed blasted the cabin- not too hard. But I know our frames are pretty flexible, but it's definitely not enough damage to make them salvage my title. Alignment is a bit off too, so dont want to burn through my tires any faster than they'll melt away by themselves. Also the exhaust got tagged, so I'm getting that looked at too.

Also, since they are looking at it next week- I'm just gonna play it safe and keep it parked.

This PILE is what I'll be rolling in until it gets fixed:

Well, lets plan on meeting at Chevron about 1030 again and then depending on whos there, we can hit up whatever people are up for. There's always lots of choices, just depending on how difficult people want to do.

There's also enough up there, I dont think we really need to make a decision on where to go this moment. Then again, it does come down to the reason someone is going off road (crawling vs scenery vs getting out of the house, and which of those matters most.) I'm easy, as I can go anywhere, can usually find something to flex out on, but mostly just like being in the canyon.

You might be able to. It is front wheel drive after all. Maybe a little pushing or pulling once in a while, and you can get over anything. ;)

How was the run? I forgot I promised a buddy I would go to his weightlifting comp. Hopefully no one broke anything major. I'll definitely be at the next one...

It was actually one of the more fun ones this year for sure. It was just Forest lake, we got to take Nat up in her truck with her first real offroad trail. Of course she did fantastic. We even got her to flex out on a large rock. I think the others have some pics to post up. Those type of runs are always my favorite. Anyway, anytime a woman has an interest in something like this, let alone able to drive it, its always awesome.

Afterwards, we just hung out at a brewery for a few hours in Park City. Just barely got home.

Looks like I'm moving to Austin, TX in about a week or two. Hoping we can all go out and shred a trail one more time? Things went south with the lady, and that's all that was keepin me here. So, gotta move on- but would love to meet up with all you dudes one more time. Still gotta put my lift on from my insurance money, if anbody wants to lend a hand :D

Awesome, wish I could have made it. Hopefully we can get some more runs in before the trails turn too nasty! Otherwise I'm gonna have to start getting my winter projects started... Clearancing for 35s on my OME is gonna take some time.
