    whythefuhhh are timbrens $200/set and these are well, not.
    ???
    bump for a good deal!

    anyone know about the timbrens? pm me the difference to keep this for sale thread on track...

    Timbrens are called a bump stop but they are made to support a load as well. They work similar to an air bag when the vehicle is loaded. Unloaded, your stock suspension supports the vehicle's weight. Loaded, the stock suspension squats and the Timbren 'bumps' carry the weight. they have give to them so they can act like a part of the suspension. Bump stops generally don't have a lot of give, they just take the shock away when you bottom out.

    Don't mean to thread jack, just thought I'd explain the difference between the 2 products. If you feel I'm being rude, please let me know and I'll delete my post as that wasn't my intent :)
