    I am in the process of finding a new truck. We think a new Tacoma would be good, but I have a few questions. I'm sure that these have been answered many times but am unable to find where. We are looking at a new 2013 Tacoma crew cab w/ V6 and the 6 sp. 4x4 with the standard bed. My questions are;

    1. Can I tow this truck behind my motorhome without putting it on a trailer or dolly?
    2. If so do I have to do any mods to the transmission or transfer case?
    3. I will be towing a boat with this truck also. Not at the same time that it is being towed. The boat weights about 1800-1900 lbs on a single axle trailer.
    4. Do I need to get something like air bags or will the stock truck springs handle it?
    5. What do you think of the after market super charger kit. Is it something I need for towing?
    6. Are there different rearend gear ratios available from Toyato?
    Any advise would be great!!!

    Thanks for any info.

    for that load towing wont be an issue.

    generally speaking the auto is better than the manual for these trucks..

    anddd the stock springs are garbage so you will probably end up replacing them at some point down the road...but they will work for your size boat. I would not say air bags are worth it.

    Welcome!! And you won't even kno that boat is back there. As for towing it behind your motor home, you might need to pull the driveshaft
