Yes, its getting better and better. It runs strong. Took me a while to remember I wasnt in a Mustang with 600HP. I am going to get a TRD CAI and go from there. I am going to post a video in a few minutes of normal driving, so you can hear what the SC sounds like. It whines all teh time. The more throttle you give the truck the louder it whines. I wish someone would have taken videos so I had a gauge, something to go by. All I can find are 0 -60 clips and nothing on daily use.

Thank you for the video MJ, good man!

Sounds like the little whine during daily driving would be easily blocked out by the radio even at a low volume. Not that I don't like it, b/c I do. BTW, did you get that meatball sub?

Intel from another thread on TW says that the TRD CAI won't be built for '12-'13 model years. I went ahead and bought the Volant with ram air scoop, tired of waiting for over one year.

i read somewhere that the 2012 with a s/c should not have a cai installed. something to do with the ecu - air fuel mixture setting. might have to take it to a tuner shop to remap. something crazy like that.

hope im not bugging you with these questions, but how long did it take them to install it. i dont live in columbus but im about an hour from toyota west. did they give you a rental to drive? did you get some "supercharged" emblems with the kit? how much boost and did they recommend a boost guage? are you running premium fuel only? lol. i think thats it. haha

The tech takes his time and does it right. Took 2 days, 12 hours.
No Rental, if you want a cheap deal of $4850 installed tax included, cant expect them to hand over rental keys. I dropped my truck off and went out of town on business.
The Kit comes with 4 TRD Emblems, 2 Gay Superchargerd Emblems and paperwork. They dont mention a boost gauge to you. Its easy to insatll yourself, I bought a cheap one, stuck it on, made around 6.5 psi boost and I removed the gauge, Its pointless really.
Yes, you also get a sticker that says Premium Fuel Only. Dont pull up to Toyota West and drop your ride off with a half a tank of 87 Octane, they will just drain it and throw the fuel away. Run your trunk 15 miles past the point of Low FUel Light, go get Premium, drive to Toyota West and Drop it off.

I bought two real Badges off of Amazon that say SUpercharged. Yes, I did use the two from the kit on my truck for a couple of days, they are coming off when my real badges get here from Amazon.

    These

Boost gauge is quite handy. Obviously, it lets you know what your boost level is. Then, it will also let you know if you have a vacuum leak that is making your engine run funny.

Say that one of the vaccum lines is loose. The rubber seal on the cap that has the TRD logo on it starts to go bad with age. Things like that make it valuable. Or, if one changes their pulley size.

I did not use the Supercharged emblems either. I bough a few of the Caddy CTS-V supercharged emblems off eBay.

I am planning on putting in a permanent boost and AFR gauge in the front sunglasses holder pod, to keep an eye on diagnostics.

I have no idea how it is mounted. From another guy's truck, in the link I posted. It does look very nice though.

I would like something like that but have it so you can still fold it up into the headliner. That would be sick.
