You better not be, punk

    :p

They clear the windshield a lot better in all weather, IMO

I was in my friend's Tacoma and he still has 17" blades on his, and I could tell just by the dirty outlines how much less the 17s clear. In fact it felt a bit claustrophobic looking through his windshield after sizing up on mine.

Madjik - it's not like you guys get any snow in CO so i'm totally going to disregard your (first-hand) knowledge. /sarcasm :)

Well, i ordered from EZwipers on Friday and they arrived on Monday.

Anco Contours come in 17's and 19s. i'm not sure what i could run to get an 18 in there. but ah well. maybe come spring time i'll run a single 19 with a 17 passenger for S&G's.

*Edit - sonofabitch, i was thinking of the Winter blades... and eff - bought two 17s because the site doesn't offer 'choose your size' just 'choose your vehicle' EFF! I'd send 'em back, but for the price, i'd rather just run these for a year, and if they do awesome, i'll bump to 18's next time. ezwipers has free shipping both ways...

Oh the memories. Madjik tried telling me the 19" cleared less windshield area. :p

Huh, whatever Bosch blades (frame style, not aero/blade) measures at 16.5" The Anco Contours measure at a true 17" ... I'm lazy, sticking with the 17's. Pic of the difference in the next few days.

Just bought some Trico Onyx blades. I'll see how well they do.

I just realized the Icons I replaced today are about 3 years old.

Not thrilled with my Rain-X latitudes. They don't quite completely touch the glass and leave streaks. They look fantastic though! However, I'll be purchasing something different when these wear out.

Holy thread resurrection...... I just ordered a set of Invisiglass Silicone blades off their website. $15 for a silicone blade. I'll give it a try.

Well, winter is nearly over in Edmonton and my wipers are starting to fail. What are some excellent wipers that can deal with snow in the winter? I am planning to buy them and put them on in the fall and deal with the current ones over the summer and use RainX washer fluid.

I didn't like how quick Rain-X wipers fell apart, so now I'm running Tricos. They seem to be doing well.

    That's awesome!

I'm gonna have to try the 19/18 since I'm about due for a new pair.

I've noticed the wipers have a longer 'effective' life when I use the rain-x water repellent spray/cleaner on my windows.

As a teenager I used Rain-X water repellent all the time but found out that back then the Rain-X would eat away at the blades and make them wear out faster. About a year ago I bought the Bosch wiper blades, they were fine till lately the streaks were getting annoying. So this time I decided to try the Rain-X Latitude, they installed in about 2 seconds. First impression as I sat in the truck was man those wipers are tall where they connect to the arm, the Bosch were a nice low profile. After driving for a couple days I noticed the new Rain-X Latitude is making the rain bead up like the old days, come to find out that they did coat the blades with water repellant.

    +1 for Rain-X Latitude
