I prefer shrink tube. Tape always ends up becoming a sticky mess and starts to come off.

Fog light anytime mod. mounted holster in center console.

Assuming as with your head lights you have to be careful to not touch them or get any thing on the bulb itself, does this also apply to the 886 bulbs. If so how did you go about cutting them with out touching the bulb?
    Thanks

I did this today but changed where you connect the wire. Instead of the wire bundle I connected it to the headlight relay. This allows the fog lights to be left on with high or low beams but turns them off when the lights are turned off.

Photo shows which pin of the headlight relay to stuff the wire into, then reinstall relay.

Why dont people just buy wooden dowels and use the dowel as a security bar for the rear sliding window? I know people are going to say it will break under pressure but if you think about it people are either looking for an easy steal or they are going to break your window completely. Why buy a 20 buck piece of metal?

Part number is different... there are 2 or 3 different part numbers, and best anyone can tell, the difference is which way the rotation is to increase or decrease the wiper speed.

I bought 84652-04141 for my 2008, and it operates with the longest delay with the knob turned fully "up".
For me, it's natural... to speed the wipers, rotate the knob back, then when it's at the bottom and I want to go faster, pull the stalk down.

As far as we can tell, all 3 part numbers will work in any truck, it's just the direction the knob is wired and how the graphic is applied.

I can just see a bunch of people out there opening and closing doors and sticking keys in their ignition. quite comical, the whole thing seems like a practical joke!:D

    none yet.
someone from the local dealer tried to tell me the same thing about it not being possible. Said the wiring harness was different for the base model and I'd have to also change out the motor itself. Does anyone know if different models have different wiring harnesses? Just doesn't make sense to me that they would do that. He said it would be well over $1000 to do the transition with an after market one. What a bunch of hooooey!
