They are not cheap to recalibrate, and if they aren't accruate, you may as well not use it.

If mine ever craps out on me, this will be the one I get next. 15 gallons, 5 or 6 CFM and 200 PSI tank pressure.

Currently mine is a 4 gallon 6 CFM at 90PSI continuous duty Campbell Hausfeld. Little bastard is a tank and can run my Ingersoll Rand Torque wrench flat out continuously.

If you can find one of these they're worth every penny and they're small so they don't take up much space.

^ Listen to nothing this one says. There's a reason they went extinct.

And that is the moment when you learned to anticipate where your fist will go when you have got every ounce of your body's strength braced behind the wrench with one foot against a wheel and the other against the frame and that fucker comes loose suddenly, and then put some thick rags over that unintended target...what do they call that...um...wisdom.

But what about prolonged grinding/sanding? When I get one, I want something with enough capacity that the compressor isn't constantly kicking in.

I was looking at some IR uprights, but I just can't justify it now. But in the future, I'd like to get into a bit more more metal fab, and then...

Right now, I can barely move in my 1-car garage, which is really shop and storage, no car space. Dadgummit.

And then there's the woodshop. Ug.

Yes, of course, but it depends on where you are and how much room you have and what the best angle is. A long breaker bar, especially wiht a helper on it, under the truck doen't always provide an ideal position.

True. I learned a lot of tricks working on jets for the past 10. Has really come in handy with speedy work on my truck.

    Grinder/Sander shouldn't use more than 3-5 CFM @ 90PSI I would think.

Never mind...I just checked IR and their one at Load uses 41 CFM. Shizam...

And a IR upright compressor? When did you win the lottery?

There is a reason my new garage is a little bit over sized (1100 Sq Ft.). A decent compressor is on my list of things i need.

This is the one we got my dad, and it is awesome.
