Ok, heading out for my fist week on back country driving. Will get a chance to be in all kinds of conditions.

Since this is my first with all the electronics and buttons and as my last truck was a '95 GMC with levers only, need someone to post me a quick note so I can cut it out, and stick on my visor until I get comfortable with the procedure.

4x4 in/out Hi/Low I understand, but A-trac, stability control, all the rest could use a list kind of like a pre-flight check list.

Thanks for any help, really looking forward to the trip, and am packing today.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
a-trac brakes the wheel that slips. It acts like a limited slip diff. Leave it engaged.
Stability control, IIRC, is for keeping your truck on the road. It corrects for wheel slip at speed by applying a brake to stop the truck from spinning out. It's irrelevent at low speeds, IIRC.
Someone can confirm, but your owners manual will, for sure.
