Thanks. Finding 15s so I can get some tires is a pain. I have money for tires now but cant find rims. The last guy backed out so Im at a stand still

 

Buy some 265/70/16" BFG's for your wheels and I'll trade you. only 5k on mine

 

I wanna convince people too. The build quality of the first gens to the 2 gens are night and day. The speakers sound good, the doors dont rattle and just seems perfect to me

 

I wanna get the rims and tires and posted. I called the guy and they seem legit but the only thing is the wheels are offset he said so I might rub. Idk what to do cause I have the cash now to pay him

How much of a difference is there in pricing for tires on 16" wheels that you OWN to buying 15" wheels and tires ????

Miguel, those OEM wheels should take anything you throw at them ...I had mine for 10+ years and only sold them to make room.....

There is a huge difference. The 16s bfgs at are like 210 to 230 and are almost 50lbs a tire. The 15s are like 150 a tire and only 43lbs. Thats a big difference to me.

 

It's not just the cost, It's the weight saving there is no need for a load D or E on a Tacoma. Plus the sizes in 15" are better and cheaper.

You are so right. Its so cheaper. Thats why If i can find a cheap set of 15s close by, ill buy tires right away

 

My speakers sound damn good..for the $2000 I put into my stereo they better..

 

for a set of 35x12.5-15 it is ten bucks more than a pair of 265's if that helps any

My front drivers side tweeter stopped working for some reason yesterday. Lame. Too lazy to pull the panel off in my cold garage, i'll wait until spring.

 

I think just about all of maine is 207. Since he's right outside of Portland i'd guess that's what it is.

 

WTF those are more expensive than my Michelins and you SURE ain't going to get BFG's to last like the "Fat White Guy "tires.......

Hopefully that is an LT price also because it SUCKS...

Sorry , I do NOT see where everyone gets off on these BFG's...Hell 1/2 the guys I wheel with hate them...BUT then again 1/2 the folks here hate my Grabbers...Buyers choice....
