I am currently in the process of installing an aftermarket radio and most things have been pretty smooth thus far, except one...... There is not enough room behind the radio to cram all these wires, Sirius, PAC Tr7, GPS, etc.. I am trying to tuck things off to the side but it seems really tight and very difficult.

I know many of you have added aftermarket radio's, how did you guys fit everything back there??

Yeah, I've pulled mine out the back in 4 or 5 times for various reasons and it was a pain each time. Sometimes I think it took so much effort to jam the thing back in that it is gonna pop out at me while driving down the road. Not a whole lot of room back there.

i have a double din h/u and the sirius/xm box but i ran it out the side and velcroed it to the back side of the lower dash trim below the steering wheel.

I have no issues getting the wires to go in with my HU, 3 RCA cables, Metra Box, Mic Jack, USB Cable, and the harness. There is TONS of room behind our decks. If you don't think so rip out the deck in a Honda Civic and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Wires can be tucked down low, to the sides and up and behind if you get clever.

The aftermarket harness typically have a lot of extra wire, you can trim a lot of that off to save space as well (never had to do it yet)

I agree, not a ton of space. I have the XM box velcro'd in my glove box, which helps.
