I've been reading posts on this and other forums and I've noticed a common problem. According to the people doing the posting, all the traditional things that people do to increase horsepower (CAI, exhaust w/ high-flow muffler, etc.) seem to either do nothing or actually reduce horsepower in Tacomas. My question to you is this: is there actually anything that can be done (short of a supercharger) to increase the horsepower of the 5VZ-FE engine? I'm not looking for much, just want to get it up over 200 hp from the stock 190. Much appreciated!
