New England B.S. Thread

First year I had my truck it was a little more than $900. The state use to knock $6000 off of the value, and vehicles over 10 years old weren't taxed. Then the state decided to let each city handle it individually. Now the cities, depending on how wealthy they are, will knock off anywhere between $0 and $6000. My city being poor only knocks off $500. And apparently the city decided my truck's value doesn't depreciate. And even when it's past 10 years old I'll still be paying taxes on it.

Seriously.... correcting his spelling and grammar would be a full time job. Personally, I ain't got that kinda time.

 

If you do that, spray some PB Blaster into the key part of the locking pin. They absolutely suck when they won't come apart!

 

The one I got has a rubber cover over the key hole. But it's not a regular key, it's a circular bearing that you spin with this circular key...

 

Haha. I'll admit it. I suck at it. Hey, everyone has something they can't do. Grammar isn't one of them .

 

So does mine but over time salt and shit worked it's way in and I almost couldn't get it apart last time. PB Blaster to the rescue! If you keep it oiled, the parts won't rust inside the lock.

Why would you need a locking pin. Just put it on when your gonna wheel and take it off once your done. That why it doesn't rust.

 

My neighbors had a garage like that and their dipshit kid was gassing up the lawn mower, spilled gas all over the place and got the shop vac to clean it up... Needless to say, the garage cleared up in about an hour (along with half of the house).

 

Haha I know. That would be nice but then she will kill me. Me and my dad threw a bunch of her stuff away and she didn't talk with us for months haha.

Jelous. If it's really cold i'll open the door to my utility room, the furnace keeps that room nice and toasty. My garage is somewhat insulated, so it's always slightly warmer than the outside temp anyways. Plus once I get working I warm up. Even when it's freezing out wearing carhartt pants, a long sleeve shirt, and a hoodie keep me plenty warm. If it's really cold i'll throw on a knit hat.

 

That's win-win! You get to clean out the garage and she doesn't bother you for months!

 

Why do all that when you could just buy a locking pin?
