I pulled STORYTELLING out today. I haven't seen it for about a year. Funny shit....the 2nd story in the movie....The main family (with John Badass Goodman) has a housekeeper and i shit you not....It's ****-sway-low from Family Guy. Seth McFarlane had to of copied this shit.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
just watched Irreversible last night...man what a trip!

I thought it was an excellent film, and from the opening scene I was thinking "Man, this is a lot like 'Enter the Void'". Well, that's because it's the same writer/director (Gaspar Noé). Now I need to watch his other films: Carne and I Stand Alone.

Overall I think it was a great movie; sad and raw, but vividly well-written with believable acting and chillingly realistic effects.

Beautiful and hypnotic cinematography, with crazy one-shots and dizzying visual effects coupled with nauseating sounds/frequencies. I liked the backwards plot, very reminiscent of Memento with a bit of Seven and Requiem for a Dream thrown in there.

Also just watched Audition for the first time...while I thought it too was a great movie, it seems to closely follow the lines of similarly twisted Japanese horror/suspense, which always leaves you wondering "What the fuck did I just watch?" Again, I thought of similar titles: Gozu, Ichi the Killer only to learn the it is the same Director.

I wish David Lynch would team up with Takashi Miike :D that would make for a truly twisted flick.

Wow...that's funny because I grabbed Irreversible from my dvd case and watched it yesterday. I hadn't seen it for about a year also (I have close to 700 movies in my collection) and yeah.......it's an excellent flick. I love it. Is it just me or was the whole underground S&M club at the start filmed so crazy and dirty you could almost smell the disgustingness of it?

Gaspar is a crazy fuck. I stand alone was cool too. Enter the void..I haven't seen that in a long time but it is crazy. Gaspar has a short in DESTRICTED also thats fucked up.

Audition is awesome and Lynch and Miike would be a real twisted mashup!!!

My uncle let me watch the original when I was about 10 years old
God bless him...he was like an older brother to me so it's all good.:D

It's a good flick and I bought the Millenium Edition of it in 2004.
I think the remake was actually pretty badass....I didn't think it was gonna be any good.

A low budget flick called Run Bitch Run is a take on the original I spit on your grave....it's not a bad watch.

Yeah dude, that club scene was NAS-TEEE!!! It made me hope places like that don't really exist. Honestly, I was watching it on my laptop, and it's so dimly lit that I could mainly HEAR what was going on in there....that was disturbing enough on it's own....unghhh.

I want to see his other films, they seem to follow along similar lines with eachother. Was it me, or was the old guy (the one in his underwear) in the beginning (end) of Irreversible also the Butcher in his other films "Carne" and "I Stand Alone"? They look like the same guy, wonder if Gaspar tries to loosely tie his characters together.

Shit, I didn't know they did a remake of this until I saw it listed on here! I am so out of the loop since I don't have cable and really only spend time on TW and other 4x4 sites....gonna watch it tonight since the original was so damn good.

Seriously, I get kind of pissed when these movies get re-made (just like when I learned on here about the Evil Dead remake) but I guess it's flattering to know they really are that good compared to the other shit Hollywood has been spewing out the last few years :)

I don't know how I missed this tv show I'm watching....it's called FACE OFF and it's in it's 4th season. BAD AS FUCK!!!!!!!

They did a whole marathon of season 3 then started season 4 right after.

It's badass. It's like INK MASTER and shit where it has 12 or so people and they are trying to win whatever amount of money.

They have to do horror, fantasy, etc. makeup effects and shit.....it's cool as hell.

    It's on SYFY.
