    I have a Galaxy S2 that is in need of constant charging... The lack of power when the vehicle is turned off is driving me nuts. I will give this a shot this weekend.

    That's pretty neat. I did this to another member's Tacoma but I ran a constant hot from the battery to one of his accessory outlets. That way it's on it's own fused power suppy, thicker wiring, bigger fuse, etc.
