I bought a 6in Pro Comp lift used off a guy, he said it had only been on for 1200 miles when he took it off and sold his truck. It has no paper work except whats printed on the box which is below and also pictured. The shocks have on them

    92771 0E13226
    EXPLORER
    X172D1
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    On the box
    57096B-2
    (BARCODE)
    6 14901 19018 2

Ive looked on Pro Comp website but they only have 2 listed for my truck and neither look like what i have. Ive also sent them a email but no reply. I probably should have done more research before i bought it but it was such a good deal (IMO) I couldn't pass it up. ill attach pictures of everything i have but the bolts and if anybody can help me i will be thankful

I'm confused... Why do you think this wont fit your 4x4? To my knowledge the lift will either fit a tacoma, or not... But I don't think 4x4 should affect the fit at all...

I checked the link 4runner316 put up and did the "see if it fits" thing and it said it wouldn't fit my truck. Maby I'm wrong but it said it had spindles. From what I have read I can't use a spindle lift!?. I really don't have a clue call me a dumbass lol

Again, to my knowledge the spindle has to be changed to for the pro comp lift to work. I don't think you're really getting a spindle lift... They're just required to change to work with the lift...

I'm not a pro by any means... But hopefully someone else can chime in

Yeah, It's nota spindle lift. It comes with it's own spindles though. Looks like regular DB lift to me. Should be good

Ok...On a drop bracket lift the actual "drop brackets" connect to your lower control arms and gives a new mounting point for your front differential. Then you bolt on those big top spacers to extend the length of your strut. Now that all thats done your stock spindle is not long enough. Your lift comes with new "spindles"...they actually call them knuckles on the 4wd for some reason, but that doesnt matter....a "spindle lift" on a prerunner is where the hub is dropped on the spindle but does not have a hole in the center for the CV axle to go through (cuz there aint one :D)

Looking at your pics it seems you have the correct stuff...those big spindles do are for a 4wd and those big brackets have the holes to mount your diff
