Are there any pictures of it in the access cab? Where and how would it fit? When do you estimate that these would be available?

I'm in, such a sweet idea. Can I still have you put it in if I'm local? Just curious.

I'll look for some pics of the AC install. Everything fits behind the rear seatback. The motor mounts to the back wall of the cab on a mounting plate with 3M dual lock.

They wouldn't be available until August at the earliest. That is assuming I can get enough up-front support from folks here to have enough capital to order a minimum order quantity of units from the various manufacturers involved. This will likely be accomplished by using a crowdfunding site (such as indiegogo.com).

Yes, as of now I generally charge $50 for install of my current kit versions. By the time this new version comes out, I'm hoping to get a couple of local outfits up to speed on installing it.

If you keep up with his other thread he is trying to get "crowd source website" to approve his product so that we have a safe, reliable way of accumulating funds.

I'm in. The manual sliding window on my DC is useless. Have never used it. How often am I going to stop the truck, get out, climb in the back and open the window?

What Sandman said. The results of this poll look very promising, but we will see what happens when it comes time for people to commit to a crowdfunding campaign. I'm anticipating at least a slight decrease in total number of interested backers compared to the poll results in this thread. Hopefully we will have enough backers on the crowdfunding to purchase a minimum order quantity from the manufacturer. Like I say though, judging from the interest here things are looking very good. Really appreciate all the interest.

If you got 3/4 of the people who said "yes" to commit, that's over your goal right there.

There has got to be a kickstarter type site out there that will accept this. Really, all you need is a secure place to order. Set up a website and take preorders, with the disclaimer that it will be a couple of months until orders start shipping, but cards will be charged immediately. You'll have all the cash you need inside a week.

PVC tank/15 & 16" horns, quick-d/c air chuck in bed cubby 24" LED light Bar (mounted to skidplate)A Headlights, foglights interior lights and backup lights all converted to LED (HUGE difference)

I'd also like to see the "behind the scenes" install as well. I have my aftermarket sub/amp and crossover units mounted on the passenger side, behind the seat back of my 2013 double cab, and the audio wiring runs down between the driver & passenger back plastics, so there may be some interference.

http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/at...those-aftermarket-stereo-systems-p1030140.jpg This is the passenger-side cubby behind the rear seatback - you can see the audio wires (top right of photo) disappearing into the "channel between the left & right plastics. They then run straight down, and then forward along the driveline hump.

That's the only thing that keeps me from being a "100%er".

To those who don't think there's a need or use for a rear window:

I just traded my '94 Toy 4x4 on this truck, and the old one was a regular cab with sliding rear, and I can attest that that rear window improves and changes in-cab airflow INCREDIBLY. It actually tames the cross-breeze. That truck also had the little triangular vent windows which were also excellent; I miss those. A lot.

And to those who say they can work their slider just fine by hand, you guys OBVIOUSLY don't have double cabs. You'd need a 4' arm to be able to work the damned thing from the driver's seat, and your eyes would be off the road for more time than is safe. I haven't used mine once for that reason, though I'd love to.

So post (or IM) some pics of the "guts" and I'll place my order. The externals look pretty impressive; nice job.
