Looking for a 2012 - 2013 DCSB 4x4 TRD Off Road, preferably with Entune. Have begun looking at local dealers and getting quotes from them and auto buying service from my lender.

So far the best I've gotten is $33.5 before ttl for a tx pro w/ navi and $30.5 for a regular TRD w/o Navi (both new 2013's). I live in California.

From what my auto buying service and the dealer's have said, this is about $800 - $1000 below "invoice".

Is this basically the best it's going to get? Some other dealers have given me higher quotes and when I tell them I got x deal from so and so they just say I should take advantage of it that's a great price...I know it's hard to get a deal on Taco's cause the sell well but jeez. I was hoping for $29-30k range for TRD OR.

If you wait til later on this year you could get a better deal on one than right now. IMO, 33.5 isn't a bad price for a TXPRO, 30.5 isn't a bad price for a TRD either.

Only way to get in your intended range is wait. August- September is the best time for the best prices.

QFT. I got a 13' Double-Cab TRD-OR 4x4 (w/ tow package) for $33,200 out the door. In some areas that is not the greatest deal but around here in GA, that is within the norm. Especially since most dealers stock tons of PreRunners and may only have 1-2 4x4's on stock at a time.

Go to the "2013 what did you pay" thread, or whatever it is titled (I'll post a link in a sec), if you haven't yet, and take a look at what people are posting in there for what they paid. Focus on people whose location says California, because East coast versus West coast is about a 2k difference from what I have seen in pricing, and other regions in between who don't have an ocean are another ballgame as well, as long as people aren't lying about their final negotiation.

The price you got on the TX Pro sounded normal, and the price for the TRD-OR did as well (without nav). You will hear someone here and there say they got entune and 4x4 and double-cab, yadda yadda for 30k out the door, and I do not believe those people are in the norm, some of which using special discounts (recent college grad, etc)

EDIT: Here is the thread I was talking about if you haven't seen it yet

I paid just under $32 for my TX pro w/o navi/entune. I'm also in the bay area. There's very little room for negotiation on the truck itself. But I was able to negotiate my APR and my trade in value. Good luck with your purchase.

Looking at $3.2k off MSRP on a Baja right now. I had a similar deal on a Tforce but wanted white. I am thinking that will be about bottom on the Baja. As soon as I get the pre sell spec sheet I am going to offer 2 other dealers $4k off on their website. What are they going to do? Laugh at me. The trucks on the dealer sites carry about a $800 higher MSRP.

Thanks. I did go through that thread but with so many variables it's hard to really know (i.e. location, trade in, packages, etc.).

Those are pretty good prices. I paid $29,500 for my TRD OR about 2.5 years ago.
