One more... to show the Grille Guard. Debadged the doors and added SockMonkey Bedside Decal that better matched the color scheme as well.

Gah, I wanted a crossover toolbox with a fit tonneau, and no one local seemed to be able to order one in. How well does yours seal around the box, SaturnXL?

SATXL- Beauty of a truck! I just finalized a deal on mine today. The TL Mica is a great color, and I may have gone with it if the dealerships here had any I could see.

The seal around the toolbox itself isn't bad, but the sizing overall isn't perfect. I got it more for fuel economy and look then hopes of using the bed space for secure or permanent storage. The way the toolbox is mounted, there are some small gaps up front (on the cab side of the toolbox) where water can get in anyway. I have the 6' bed, the toolbox (with the mounting bar) is 21 1/2", and there's still a 1/4" gap between the tailgate and bottom rear of the cover.

Got mine (Extang Full-Tilt Toolbox Tonneau) from AutoAnything.com for just under $360 with free shipping. Took about a week to get it, and installed myself in just under an hour. Best price I got from a local place was $480 for the same cover and $45 for installation.

You can't lock it, but I do like how you have the option of rolling it up or easily removing the top frame (as one piece) altogether. Here are some better pictures if they help.

    Overall:

Thanks! Thankfully I live just outside of Philly where we have a ton of dealerships. Only one had the color available to see, but another was able to actually get it in the double-cab TRD Sport model. My second choice was Pyrite, but I really wanted the Timberland.

Nice, I keep thinking about how I could modify a gull-wing crossover to accomodate the cover I have (I have a truxedo velcro roll-up cover, when I couldn't get the box and fit cover). I'll have to be careful about it, but I think if I can get the cover shortened by someone with a heavy-duty sewing machine I could figure the rest out. That'll be a while down the road, and will probably end up more trouble than it's worth :)

i have a extang full tilt also and i have the opposite problem at the taligate, mine is long and hangs over the edge to much.

i dont have a tool box, mine covers the whole bed and if i push it forward so that it looks normal it rubs against the cab when the body flexes as i go over bumps in the road and such.

ill have to get some pictures of it if it ever stops raining around here

Here are pics of my new 09 4x4 TRD Sport Tacoma. I traded in my 08 Prerunner for this one because of the 4x4, color and better seat materials. I moved my Extang hard cover over to the new truck and did the front license plate mod and the tailgate mod. I am waiting for the Pop & Lock PL5300 tailgate lock to be distributed so I can put in my rubber bed mat. The second day after I bought the truck, I went to the supermarket. When i came out, the tailgate was down. I was lucky the bed mat was still there.

    MEANGREENTACOMA09,

If you ever have time, I would absolutely love to see a front 3/4 shot of your truck on a less glarey day... I have been wondering what my truck would look like witht he roof rack and skid plate... and since my SR5 look just like an off-road sans stickers (on the outside at least)...

I should probably leave them off for mileage :(

Neither one affect gas. I will be glad to post some. I will do so this weekend. Both would make your truck look sharp and are useful too.
