An 03, huh? Wow, that wouldn't be a horrible deal, like for $10K or something. You gonna get it?

Call the guy, you have nothing to lose...

I don't think an SR5 would have 4 cylinders. I know that's the case with the 3rd generation 4Runners. Only the base 4Runners had 4 banger engines.

And no idea. I'll talk to my parents. If i dont my bro might. Would be a great truck for him.

Also no locker i think. Oh well.

How the fuck do you think I own a 2nd gen at our age? haha My parent's certainly didn't buy it for me. In fact they told me I was insane for spending more than $10K on a vehicle. Not to mention the like $10K I have put into it now. haha

I did a 12 month deployment to Iraq. Left Aug 2010 and got back Sept 2011.

Yeah, no locker, I looked, but that's not a big deal, you know how to do that.

It is a pretty truck, I'll say that much.

And how in the world would your brother afford that truck???

I found one in the area in which Monte and I live... I can't afford it, but I told Monte about it, and he's interested in it.

Though it remains to be seen if he can get it.

Same say i could. My Grandma left us some inheritance money. I need a new car and he needs a more travel ready vehicle too.

It would be better for him to get it honesty. It would be great for him as he is into climbing, biking and back packing. Not so much the wheeling so he would just use it as is all the time.

I would love it just for the room. But not sure i want it as it'll only get 18 in the city if im nice to it. Id like something that gets 25 city..

Either way..ill try and make one of us get it :p haha I wouldn't mod it if i could help it. Not till much latter.

The nice thing about if i could get is i KNOW i could almost ALWAYS fix anything on it. Where as i have to learn a whole new platform with a subie or VW or whatever.

me too..i actually would love one too. I think back seats would be fun to take people on trips. Kinda blows only having one seat to take someone with me. But there is one FS close to me. Same town as FJ

Id LT the FUCK out Frankenstein and just armor up the double cab and call it a day.

my co-workers of the female variety number three and like to come on wheeling trips....
it would be so fucking nice to have an actual backseat

though one of them likes to sit in the middle of the front bench....

I am artillery, but that isn't what I did over there. I did what pretty much everyone else did, base defense and convoys...

that doesnt sound fun at all

but iraq was drawing down in 2010/11, right?
Glad you got back in one piece, besides those bits of eardrum laying around...

    in other news
With the discovery of the Higgs Boson particle, particle physicists can have a model of the end of the universe.

The higgs boson has a mass of 127 GeV; it was found by smashing together two protons; each with a mass of ~1 GeV.
It weighs more than 127 times the parts its made of

With a mass this high, eventually, in 20,000,000,000 years, mass will get to a point where it will implode into a bubble where our laws of physics do not apply

This bubble will expand, destroying our universe.

    FUCKING
    SCIENCE!!
