I know of no cons if it is done correctly. The benefits are you get a few more inches of travel.

i think thats bs. only way it will do that is if u let it go negative arch to much. thats what the bump stops are for. adjust those, i bet it doesnt wear any faster

Figured I'd pass on the knowledge since there are so many military members in the tidewater area..

Alcan Springs offers 5% off for military.

I agree -- as long as you are limiting your travel with a bump stop you'll be fine. It's no different than if you didn't have a flip kit and had the wrong height bump stops.

You can save cash and order the All Pro flip kit tapped for bump stops and get super bumps from wheelers offroad instead of spending crazy money on Timbrens.

Or you can tap the plates yourself, but I think its only $5 extra to have them tapped. I have to tap mine, the $5-10 extra would have been worth the hassle. Didn't know it was an option when I ordered.

Go with the wheelers up front way cheaper and really good. That's if they are in stock

That's what I was planning on doing, no need for the tibrens there. Wanted them on the rear in case I load up the bed or tow something with a lot of tongue weight.

Cool it's what I did too. Well partially. Still need to install the drivers side. Right now it needs the sheared off bolt from the stock one removed first :anonymous:

Anybody have a good 3-pin, waterproof, quick connect, electrical connector leads? I'm looking for a cannon plug with that but can't find anything.

Have a link? Want something kind of rugged since it's going to be for the winch hand control when I do in cab controls.
