    Thanks for the offer, but this is a surprise for my wife's AR. She would crap a cinder brick if she knew I got that good a deal and have it away lol. She's been hinting at one of these for a few weeks.

    This is probably three years of Afghanistan/Iraq deployments. Slung M-4's tend to get beat up, the optics are no exception.

    Looks good. Hopefully you tested it thoroughly. Those longitudinal battery EO's have been known to fail with prolonged use/abuse which it looks like this one fits the category of. Seems to be about the only weak point on those optics. Personally, I would sell that one for a profit and then find a deal on the XPS version. You could probably get $400ish for it to the right buyer and if you look hard enough you can find a new XPS for not too much more. Just my $0.08 adjusted for inflation.

    L3 technologies sent me the battery repair kit since there have been a bunch of complaints like you said. Can't beat free warranty repairs.
