ome Dakars in rear and ome 882's in front. 255 85 16's maxxis bighorns
hello i am a new member, i drive a Tacoma 04 dc with ome dakars and ome 882s. i noticed once i installed the dakars it located my axle foreward about 3/4 inch. my axle is centered much better now than it was but i noticed when i wheeled it this weekend i rubbed very slightly on the front of the rear wheel well. i have read lots of information about trimming the rear of the rear wheel well but not the front of the rear wheel well. if any of you can shed some light on how i will need to do this i would appreciate it greatly! The reason im wondering is because i am currently running 265 75s and im going up to 255 85 maxxis bighorns ( they should be here next Monday). i know they will rub a lot more so i want to be prepared on how i will need to trim. also, when the rear suspension of the truck flexes doese the tire being shoved in the fender well move foreward toward the front of the truck or backward twards the bumper ? thanks!

Was a PreRunner, now it isn't
yup, got my relocation plates from AllPro. Along with rubbing the front side of the wheel wells, it was causing my slip yoke to bottom out. Went back 1" and all is good.

Another option is to drill new holes in the spring perch to re-locate the springs.
I had this exact issue a few years back on my previous truck. Here is a link to that portion of the build: HTH
