I came home from work today thinking about starting my BHLM.. But the damn clips on the 2012 grille are a bitch to get unclipped! I cant the damn thing out!
Screw this, im not waisting time and that much effort to do a cosmetic mod. My 07 grille was way easy! even the lights were easy..

There are a row of plastic clips on the bottom, start on each side, push down on the clips while pulling out, work your way to the middle, easy as pie.

Take the light, clear the fourth bolt part bottom of the light, and twist the headlight down and away from the front bumper until the light is sideways and guide it out is the best way I can explain it. Frustrating the first time but then you get used to it.

Started early this morning and got the headlights out and tore apart. Got 2 coats on them right now! It wasnt hard as hard as i thaught once i looked up how to take out the headlights. I got them out in like 2 min. Hehe

Im going to be doing something alittle different then everyone else. And im keeping the side marker light chrome.. I taped off the area where the light goes and it should look good when done.
