help with my rear suspension, think the mechanic screwed up.

    Hi guys so I sent my truck to a mechanics to add a leaf or two to the rear to allow the truck to take more weight and to lift as well. But I thought he would add the leafs under the others and it would make a block where the truck would lift as well. But look how he did this, did he do it the right way by adding half on one side of the wheel and half on the other side? is that normal? it doesnt look like it when I look at my truck.[/ATTACH]

    Those are helper springs. Not sure how else its supposed to look.

    i thought he was going to add a full leaf under them, What if I just do it myself and get these leafs piled one over the other but under the original ones, It would make a block under and would lift it also, would that work?

    That's a helper leaf not a AAL. Sorry but you got screwed for $400 to tighten down 8 bolts.

    Yeah 380$, think i should have bought an add a leaf kit and installed them myself, it looks pretty simple

    If u want lift and more carrying capacity get Wheelers progressive HD 3-leaf AAL or Dakars.
