Prepare for a possibly very stupid question.

I like the way the front end of the 2012s look compared to my 2009. I'm planning on swapping the hood for a scooped, and the grill for a non-chrome one.

While pricing it out I started to wonder if I could just put 2012 front end parts on since I would only need to add headlights and the two plastic panels under them to the list as I already have an all-pro bumper.

Is this do-able as a part swap deal or would it involve changing out all sorts of supports and other hidden items?

Fenders appear to be the same from all the research I have done. All of the aftermarket body panel suppliers list the same part numbers for 2009 and 2012.

Didn't realize RAD did that on his truck. Sent him a PM, should be interesting.
