I'm looking for an affordable 3" lift that will let me toss some 33's on my truck without any CMC, i don't mind if the fender well needs to be cut or pushed back a bit. At first i was gonna just do the "level off" with billstein 5100's front and back but it won't give me desired height for the tires i want.

I was looking into this: http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Bilstein-Adjustable-lift-kit-with-5100-shocks_p_132.html

    Or this: http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/3-lift-kit-with-Bilstein-5100-Height-Adj-Coilovers_p_364.html

I was told diff drop kits are a joke and not needed so i selected "no diff drop kit" but i want to do the AAL in place of a block. My truck has 3 leafs so which leaf pack am i looking at? Also do i need top plate spacers? Will i need new UCA's?

If it's any consolation i won't be doing any crazy 4x4'ing just the odd trip out with buddies and when i go camping so not looking to get the dakars

Thanks for your help, i wanna put my order in today so i can install this next weekend!

It seems like we have the same uses for our trucks. I just had my kit installed yesterday. UCAs are typically recommended for a lift over 2"-2.5". The kit in the first URL states that if you have a double cab, the top plate spacer is recommended for full 3". What model do you have?

Here is a link to my lift kit install; different kit but you get the idea:

    Hope this helps you.

Yes. That's a pretty cheap install. The stealership wanted $1200 ($600 for the front and $600 for the rear) , other places were quoting me 6,7,800..

    I feel I got a good price.

I was gonna do it myself when i thought it was just the 5100's going in but now i think i'd rather take it to a shop. I notice after i'm done all my options with the kit and ready to order, the first one is $200 less than the second. What's the difference other than the coils? Just pre-assembled?

I had the same issue but went with the first option you list but I DID order the diff drop kit. I was confused and was told that i do need it and that i dont need it. so I said EFF that and ordered it anyways, also ordered the top plate spacers and the LR UCAs. I'm Also waiting for my tires, nitto trail grapplers 285/65/18
