Just installed a lift on my '13 DCSB 4x4. Got Icon extended travel Coilovers up front set at 1.5" of thread showing on each, LR UCA's, and BFG A/T 275/70/17. No diff drop installed.
So my question is regarding the angles of the CV boots. Are they ok as they sit or should I go ahead and try to correct them as much as I can? If so, how? CV boot mod, diff drop, new boots, lower the passenger side coilover? The driver side boots seem to be ok, they aren't as close to touching as the passenger side.
    Thanks for the help.

Inboards are OK. Outboard fins are touching and could wear out quickly -> do the boot slide mod.

Dropping one spring will make the truck sit uneven, assuming it's even now. Diff drop will solve the axle angle at the expense of ground clearance, $, and more work. Leaving it may wear out the boots and joints. I think they'd be fine and I hate diff drops so I'd leave it, rebuilt axles are cheap. I hope you had an alignment done afterwords.

Yes, get the boots not rubbing if you can

I just took some measurements. The passenger side is sitting just about 3/4'' higher than the driver side. Exact measurements from center hub to fender:
    Driver- 22 1/4"
    Passenger- 22 15/16"

Maybe I can lower the passenger side C/O to match the drive side and hopefully that will help the angle a little?
I'm really not wanting to install the diff drop.

I agree with the CV boot slide.

Buy four SS hose clamps and be done with it!

Busted a CV boot after 30k with OME, Have used Hose Clamps ever since. Not one problem.

Be sure to check them after the first couple rides and make sure they are seated up tightly (you will need to use a wrench and not just a screw driver to tighten them)

    Hope this helps!
