For me yes it is worth it. I am not a big Apple user but my wife's older 30gb iPod and her 32gb iPad had to be replaced under warranty with no problems. My son received a 32gb iPad this last Christmas and a small hairline crack developed in the screen back in April. Replaced the same day with no issues.

Use your computer to update(the old way) instead of OTA, and you wont need to delete anything

For those of you on a Mac, you need to be on Mountain Lion 10.8.5. Your installation of IOS7 will fail at the last second. Error 6 appears at the end of install.

    Yes

OTA- Over the Air. Using the software update on your phone(located under General settings) and downloading it straight to your iPhone without the use of a computer :) makes it easier for people without the use of a computer, but you dont have a backup(you can also backup using icloud straight from your phone) so if anything goes wrong and you havent backed up your phone you loose everything... I doubt anything would go wrong with it though.

Went to a Corporate Verizon Store (without an appt. as a "walk-in") outside of Atlanta area today (09-20-2013) at about 1430 hours. Left with 2 new iPhones (for me & my wife) ... both were (sealed boxes) 5S - 64GB Black in less than 30 mins. :D Her droid data had to be transferred and that took most of that 30 minutes and I did no data transfer (kept old iPhone)

No lines at this store ... but other stores in the Atlanta area were somewhat crowded in the AM.

I never dreamed I could walk into any Verizon store (with no lines) on a first day issue, and get 2 new - 5S 64 GBs late in the afternoon (off the shelf) in less than 30 minutes (on opening day) OTD (a record "fast time" for me in a Verizon store) ... ... :D

IMO ... Apple better be really be bustin their azzzes on an some new products and iPhone6 models .... as I see less and less interest in 5 series ... ..... and I am an Apple lover ... :D

    PS ... The gold 16, 32 & 64 GBs went first OTD ... ... No hint of a 128 GB coming out this year ... :(

Something like this will work. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008FL1AU0/ref=pd_aw_sbs_1?pi=SL500_SS115
This is probably your best bet

Or if your tv has wifi, you *might*(havent tested it, but it works for youtube) be able to push it from your iphone to tv. I doubt this option though

    For $10 it's worth a shot.
    Thanks

Make sure the stuff you want to stream will work on it first. It doesn't technically stream from your device, it pulls it from the internet with direction from your device. They only have certain partners so far.
