Hey guys, I'm new to the site and I still have a stock 2011 double cab 4wd base Tacoma. I am falling into quite a bit of money and I finally want to outfit my truck with most of the big purchase items in one fell swoop. However, I have one question in regard to a 3" suspension lift.

So far I am getting: Toyo 265/75-16 A/T tires, Pro Comp 16x8" wheels, and Fab four bumpers front and back. (All of the little stuff like badges, tint and exhaust I will get later).

Now, I was going to get a Pro Comp (I know most of you hate them, haha) Nitro body lift/level kit (3" in front 1"in rear) but I am wanting a OME suspension lift instead (The one for around $750ish on ToyTec). My question is I want a 3" lift in front however, I'm not sure if it will be completely level with the back (Which is what I want) because it looks like the options to choose from lift it 1.5" in the rear.

Can anyone help me or tell me what I need to get to achieve my goal of a 3" suspension lift that will be level without going super expensive (I like the $700ish price range)

I know there are a lot of preferences and opinions but I really like the OME over the adjustable bilstein shocks.

Thanks in advance guys, and I'm happy I joined!

Really appreciative of the replies. I'm so new to this it's kind of stupid. AAL? I assume that stands for something with the leafs. Sorry, I understand those threads have everything I need to know about OME suspensions, I just don't have the time to go through all 100+ pages of it. I just want a solid 3" lift that is level. I know you all are on point with offroad gear, I'm just beginning but want a solid point in the right direction to get my suspension where I want it.

    Thanks so much!

AAL stands for add-a-leaf. I would at least peruse this thread....

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/11282-tacoma-lift-faq-guide-read.html

How much do you really want to spend? OME is great for the money but there are better lift kits out there, like King, Fox and some others. I love my OME lift but if money isn't a concern there is better.

I would definitely make some time and get knowledgeable on this stuff before you spend a bunch of money. I've wasted countless hours reading threads on this site! Don't just expect the folks here to spoon feed you everything.

Yes I have the money, but I'm not trying to part with it easily.

All I want is a decent 3" lid that is level on a base 2011 tacoma.

Understandable. I'd personally go with the full OME lift (with the CS047 Dakar leaf option) and then remove one of the leafs from the dakars. That should have you close to level and you'll have much better leafs. Might still be slightly high in the rear but not too bad. On a double cab you'll need the 885 springs in the front. This is a million times better than a cheapo spacer lift.

Roger. Since I'm getting a full steel bumper should I get the 886s in front?

Yeah, didn't realize you we're getting a bumper. 886s are the way to go. If you're only adding a bumper, they may be a little stiff though. Depends how much it weighs.
