Is anyone local that would be interested in a brand new UWS lopro toolbox? The one I ordered doesn't fit my '13, I'm told (afterward) that it fits '05-'11. Brand new, sitting in my garage.

maybe. . . . seems like they should fit all beds though, I don't know of any changes that would affect that

Ditto. Beds should be the same dimensions besides the length factor.

Will anyone be near Shaver Lake this Sunday? I have never been on a trail and wanted to see if I could find Brewer Lake Trail or maybe Bald Mountain?

right up my alley. but, I will be working, and I don't know when trails close for snow if they are not closed already due to shutdown.

bald I believe is un- gated so should be open no matter what.
brewer is a bit longer to get to. see link below

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I'll check it out. I hope to go more often, but I just have a stock truck so I don't think I could do any of the advanced stuff.

I don't do a whole lot of off-roading but am very surprised at what these trucks can do in stock form.

I took mine on brewer with 245/75/16 and stock suspension and scraped a little bit of frame and lower control arms. its an easy trail but I guarantee you wont see another stock anything at the lake. just pay attention to the directions going in and out. it is easy to get lost back there. lots of forks and turnoffs.

I think bald is easier, even going the "harder" way. that could be because I did it after I had more experience and equipment than I had doing brewer though. either way you'll be fine.

strawberry is a ton of fun too, but you will actually have hangups on the way in and out. I mean places where you think you chose a decent line, are cruising through and BAM! your stuck and wondering what broke. do that one with friends to be safe.

wish I could join you but I have shut-downs all weekend:(

Alright, I know it might not be smart to try it alone so I might not. But I'm willing to go up any weekend. I'd love to try one. Let me know if you're ever going up.

Hey! I made it up to Shaver today for a little while. It took me a while to find Brewer Lake Trail and it was later in the day when I finally did. You were right about a lot of forks in the road. I only went about half mile into the trail and decided to head back for the day. I would definitely like to do more if someone else came up too. You were right though, I didn't see any stock trucks attempting it. Everything was heavily modified.

Also I found out that the trails will probably be open for a little while longer, but November 1 they will start requiring permits to enter Snow Parks. I had to go in through Tamarack Sno Park to get to brewer.

cool deal. I made it in fine, it was coming out that I got lost lol. I was hauling ass as my son was ill with what I guess to be altitude sickness (first real camping trip) and went all over that damn mountain. very frustrating being lost with a screaming, vomiting child

    Haha. I can't even imagine.

For sure man. Since the signs said permit required for snow parks starting November 1, I'd like to try it before then. I'm off this weekend and willing to go up, but I'm not too sure about doing the trail all alone.

Although, 92dlxman said Bald Mountain is open year round so we could always try that one together any time.

Well I guess this died off. Is anyone planning anything? Does anyone go up when it's snowing? I've never been.
