Hi all, took the evening off, still not quite feeling up to par. So I guess it will be a real short week this week.:D

And the idiots seem to be multiplying like rabbits.

Adam, you can run, but you cannot hide...he will find you! :D

    Agreed...very frustrating. :(

Sounds delicious...might have to try that sometime. Thanks for the recipe.

Kitchen faucet shopping yesterday was like that ... might take a while for Kristi to decide what she wants ...

Long story short...watched a squirrel play in the yard all winter one year...very entertaining, stealing from the bird feeder etc, Then in Spring went to get out the summer tires stored on rack behind shed and covered with tarp. That little so and so had chewed down a flat spot on top of two tires to build his nest.
... and rack of tires moved inside shed. ;)

    Evening Garage folks.

 Radiator drain/flush/refill complete. The nuts and bolt on that thermostat housing are a bit of a pain, for a sausage fingered meat fisted Moose Man.

Little turds have chewed some of my water hoses, too

    Mornin'

    :D Winter wear huh?

46F this morning. Supposed to get windy and more rain, but stays in the 40s and 50s for the next week. Gonna put Blizzaks on this morning...that should hold off the snow a few more weeks. ;) I was going to hold off on them, but want to look at my brakes...all this brake discussion lately has me wondering.

:) Except for more rain than I care for, it's been a very nice "Fall." The leaves even stayed on the trees for quite a while. Little ones might actually get to trick or treat without snow suits this year... probably shouldn't have said that!

PS: I'm a little grumpy about rain...might have something to do with 7 yrs living in England.

Yup - chilly here today. It rained all day yesterday and then froze last night.

I'll be doing my brakes this weekend...pending the arrival of my pads. I've got 98k on the originals so I think its time. Plus good brakes are nice to have in the winter.

 How are your classes going?

Hasn't really rained too much down here yet. I actually don't mind the rain though. PNW rain has nothing on KS rain. It's a mist out here vs the horrible downpours we had...

Morning! Done with math. Got a 93% in it without even really spending too much time on it. English has 2 weeks left. Right now I have an A, and just sent in the rough draft to my final paper. I still have no word on the class I am supposed to go to in Colorado... so I'm not sure if I am getting bumped to January or still going in Nov. Puts a wrench in my class planning.

 Better safe than sorry. I'm at 92K on my originals. Inspected them last May when I tire swapped and they looked good. I always inspect them every time I tire swap. Going to actually measure them today. I've been surprised how well they are wearing. Every swap over I'm thinking it'll be time. But I'm manual trans, do a lot of engine braking (downshifting), and very little "in town" driving.

I remember those days...trying to fit classes in with TDY schedules and such. Don't really miss it. ;) Hang in there...

I have NCOA in November. But with the current budget fiasco, there are no TDY's, and the people that were in class got sent home half way through. We are kind of in limbo until the budget gets passed and they make up their minds who they want to go through first.

Classes would be easy for me to sign up for now that most of them can be done online. I just would rather be in class one day a week because it's been so long since I had any school.
