    So anyone use Protune, 2.7k or 4k very often? My computer doesn't push out high quality video very good and makes it hard to edit anything with the GoPro from 120fps up and files as big as 2.7k & 4k. Whats some things you all shoot with your higher quality video, maybe landscape etc..?

    I stick with 720 at 60fps. It does well for generally any video and doesn't eat as much battery.

    The only time I do higher quality video is if I know I'm doing slow-mo.

    Yeah I normally run 1080 at mid range frame rate. I haven't used it in a while so I can't remember... but I have never used 4k or protune

    yeah i do the exact same, unless i'm on the bike or something i might do some slow motion with. I've looked at some protune explanations on youtube about protune getting better pictures in dark areas and all but i just didn't know if it was worth the extra battery life/storage it uses.. Does Youtube even offer 4K or how does that work?

    No problem! I use Sony Vegas if i'm wanting to take my time and make one but if i'm trying to just throw something together real quick, GoPro Studio 2.0 is a quick easy way to go!

    Just made a GoPro mount for my sliders. Could have bought the roll bar mount for $30.00+ Tax. Instead I built one for about $10 not including the tripod mount I already had.

    Stainless U-bolt to fit diameter of sliders
    Wing Nuts for U-bolt
    1/4-20 3/4" Stainless bolt
    1/4-20 Nut
    Grommet

    Drill out center of plate for U-bolt, put in the grommet and then run the 1/4-20 bolt through the backside, tighten with the nut. Done! Paint it if you want.
