Towed my boat with my old OR AC, but I traded it in last week for a new DCLB Sport. Can't tow yet cause of break-in, it's killing me!

12 years ago with our old 98 PA to NH. SCARY ride. Scanned the negative backwards, hence the flipped image.

My last 05 towed much better. But I still want to get a brake controller for my current truck just in case I do more towing.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
    this was my 2008 4cyl 5spd 4x4.

I regularily towed this and more. 500 miles each way back and forth to iowa a few times per year as well.

My 2013 tows this trailer and truck every time i get to go wheeling. No problems.

    haha, thats a long story.

    The short version is

    1000 miles rount trip
400ish miles in a truck dropped what i guess was a cabinet in a box (10x3x3 ft) in the center lane, in front of me cars left and right. So i ran it over. no flat.
500 mile turn around, got an extra spare.
570 miles first blow-out.. put spare on
750 second blow out, tire takes out the other.. 2 flats, 1 spare.

at this point i was mad, but not nearly as mad as when i found out what road side assistance (from insurance) is.. Why the hell did i pay $7.50 per month for roadside assistance so that they can change my tire, with my "provided and inflated spare"

so i drove 100 more miles with the axel strapped and then i ended up dropping the truck and running empty trailer, had to go back for it. Huge PITA

i was happy it was made of wood. I thought for sure i was in for a hurting when i saw it hit the pavement and start sliding.

The only thing i thought was one of those steel freezers or bars, like a buffet. And i pictured my options, crush the car on the right, crush the car on the left, or hope for the best.

Obviously i hoped for the best.

I guess its the reason i have 8 rims for my trailer now. Still can't keep a set of tires on it.
