Abs brakes?

    Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
    Hey guys, quick question if someone can help I'm looking to get an ultragauge but I'm nervous about the abs error how can I tell him my taco has abs??

    Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
    Ya abs wheel sensors.. I heard it can mess with the ultra gauge

    Is yours abs? Did u do anything special to make your ultra gauge not trip?

    I do have ABS, but no stability control and other stuff that are on the 6 lugs.
    the UG just plug and play.

    Check out this thread.

    I bought an obdII cable also and removed the pin off it that is talked about in the thread I linked. It is very easy and you don't mess with your ultragauge or your obdII connector in the truck.

    Thanks man!!! Very informative, did you guys buy the mounts they offer or did you just modify something to mount it too??

    To see if you have abs brakes look under the hood passenger side next to the firewall. It will be a pump looking device with 4 or 5 brake lines running out of it. If you have that then you have abs if not no abs.

    Mine came with a mount when I got it a few years ago. I have since mounted it in the pocket below my aftermarket cd player. I used some parts of a GPS mounting kit I found at Best Buy along with some of the pieces that came with the UG.
