Just put a new URD stage three clutch kit in and now my rear differential locked up

    Keeps constant preload on the pinion, I believe ECGS uses them on all the thirds they build.

    You can do the swap yourself, I used one from TTORA but the Wiki is gone down due to spam that had photos but here is a link to a thread that has the steps. Its not hard to swap a 3rd mine took about an hour just make sure you have all the tools, jack stands, oil, etc. Just found one from Monkeyproof on elocker swap.

    Toytec Coilovers, Total Chaos uca's, Wheelers aal+Bilstein 5160's. 285/70/17's, Method Double Standards. Magnaflow exhaust, GrilleCraft grille, Allpro bumper,diff breather relocate, yellow wire mod, oil catch can, weathertechs.
    Close, but the Tacomas are a 3rd member. You dont pull off the housing from the backside and pull out the carrier like on Chevrolets. You pull it everything out as a unit that unbolts from behind the driveshaft on your rearend. It is not hard at all, there is a good write up on here on how to do it. I would look for a whole axle at a salvage yard, one that is already pulled and is in working order, not one outside sitting on the ground.

    Thanks guys, I ordered from ECGS, Curtis helped me out on there when I called. Should be working on it this weekend. I'll post with my results.

    I did it in the rain in the parking lot of my apartment complex...gotta love it :rolleyes:
