There was a CL ad for some stuff I was looking for, showed up to the guys house and he had the boxes in a corner. asked and he devalued them due to the holes he drilled. I further devalued them and offered ~$50 for the pair plus the additional cash for the other items I was picking up. he was happy and so was I.

Couple of the mid sized cases.

Well, since you know how to plastic weld, maybe we should start a plastic welding thread and showcase some of the projects so we all can benefit from them. It is nice to know some of the different temps and such for the different materials.

I am just using a quality adjustable Hot Melt Gun and some of the better glue sticks. I was just taking some of the plastic from the material I was 'welding' and blending it to get the right color and proper viscous point.

Have know idea how you can guess that, but yeah I cut it down a little to be useful.
She wanted pink to replace the old. What a PITA. But I'd do it faster a 2nd time.

It's a locking tire chuck. They are a lot bigger than I was expecting! They are abut 1" in diameter. I was expecting them to be smaller like these. I'd guess those in the pic are about 1/2" in diameter.

Guessing here, but in context with his super cool new suspension, it's a nitrogen line.

Oh, and yeah I would be interested in a plastic welding thread. Never learned to do it with out black smoke and toxic clouds.

    Edit: ^^^^ spoke too soon.
