i have a 99 tacoma with the 3.4 and the trd packacge, i drive up and down a mountain everyday on pretty shitty roads, about 12 miles, and i drive really fast. i have a decent amount of money to throw at my truck and i would like to upgrade the suspension all around, i dont really want to deal with the maintinance of long travel and i use my bed to much to build a cage, so my tentative plan is to get some sway away racerunners up front with some new uniball uppers and im not sure about the rear im thinking icons 1.5inch leaf and shock package, i really wouldn't like to lift my truck more than 2 inches but my biggest question is how much more travel am i looking at in the rear?
seems like the consensus on the front is about 10 inches from the stock 7-7.5

and also do you guys think i could get away with 33s if i put on some fiberwerx fenders and bedsides and some 1.5 inch wheel spacers

Toytec 16" coilovers with Tundra Bilstein 5100s, Light Racing UCAs, Alcan Leafs with Orbit Eyes, 12" Bilstein 7100 short Bodies, ARB rear locker, 33x12.5 Duratracs, CBI sliders, Bushwacker fender flares, self made front bumper, M8000, Vision X 6.7" Hi/Lo Beam HIDs, full skids, Inchworm dual case setup - 15º clocking
The key for your rear travel will be based on the shock lengths you go with. If you get the typical 5100 setup, your rear compression will be really good, but your extension will lack. That being said, with only a couple of inches of lift, you probably wont be able to go much longer than a 9" shock.

Another thing: If you don't want much maintenance for your suspension, check out the Light Racing UCAs instead of Uniballs. They have a fully sealed ball joint that won't corrode in winter driving conditions, but will still give you the travel you are looking for. I'm running them now and have been impressed in their performance. I put it up on my build thread on the second or third page, if you have more questions

I personaly would avoid the wheel spacers.. just get some new rims

33's will fit again just want to make sure you get rims with good backspacing

As for suspension think you would be fine with that set up.

Might want to think of skidplates aswell save you some damage when you're bombing down the mountain.

Some people like wheel spacers I'm just not a fan myself.
