Did you end up needing spacers for the wheels?

I did but only to clear the allpro spindle gussets. If I can get all of the rub out in the rear of the wheelwell I'll keep them on. Spacers are 1.25 but only need like 1/4-1/2" so may notch the spindle gussets and ditch the spacers. Will know better this weekend. Kinda like the wider stance but I'm sure it's a bit harder on the wheel bearings and the scrub radius is naturally a bit large so expect addl tire wear but nothing major.
Basically equivalent to a 3.25" backspace now.

Interested to see where you finally end up at. If/when I go 35's it'll be KM2's and I'll need new wheels (always liked those Baja wheels too). Just don't want to run spacers.

The Baja wheels are 4.5" BS so should be fine if you dont have spindle gussets. Notched spindle gussets will likely clear and the TC brand non swaybar models should clear as well. The allpros are a little different design, most of the brace is to the outboard side of the spindle.
A 35" tire is better suited on a little wider than 7.5" wheel (baja's) however, the center of the tread tends to wear faster. An 8" or 9" wide wheel is better, if you are already buying wheels you mind as well get the best fit.

Interesting. Been running Spidertrax for 6 years with no problems. Looks like I will have to keep them on. :-(

I have ran them for a couple years too, no issues at all. I only did it to fill out the fenders I used to run. I like the wider stance and added stability they provide but with 35's its hardly needed.
I hope to make everything clear and will probably keep them. I have to run a 3/4" spacer in the rear anyway, at full articulation my tires will slightly rub the shock bodies because of the rear hoop.

Believe it or not I do. Maybe its the gear combo with the tires plus the 35" KM2's are lighter than the 33" Toyos.
Ran all over hell yesterday, 100 or so miles mixed freeway and city, got about 15-16 avg. Haven't seen that mpg since it was basically stock, go figure

So I don't know crap about this. How does that compare to running two batteries?

Yep, thats the beast right there

Two batteries allows you to isolate one for starting only but also runs more money and more complex wiring. You wont likely find 2 small batteries that have the CCA as this one and for starting and the deep draw capabilities either. This big bitch will get the job done just fine and you can drain it all you want and the reserve will still fire your truck up no problem. Just a simpler approach that is also more cost effective.

Just make sure if you do get it to have a battery holder to hold the big bastard down. Cause monkeyproof has gone threw a couple stock battery holders.
