Hey guys, when I push my clutch in from 0 to the first 1/4 of the way in there is a really obnoxious squeak that come from it. From 1/4 of the way in to all the way in it doesn't squeak, just the 1st 1/4. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
I don't have an answer for you, but you posted this in the Builds forum and is unlikely to be seen by the vast majority of people.

You might have better luck over in the Technical Chat forum.

Very common problem with the 3.4s

Instead of using whatever linear spring Rucas used in the first post, just buy a brake pedal return spring from the dealership ($2.50)

And what stikle said, you accidentally posted this in the builds forum.

had to do the spring mod on my old 2000 tacoma. very simple and easy fix. pedal was *slightly* stiffer than the OEM setup, but wasn't too noticeable. it definitely was worth it to fix that annoying squeak haha
